We watched it with great interest: it’s clearly made with love by people who truly care about bringing the story of these two major figures of modern dance to the screen.
We loved that we discovered their techniques and approach, “sneaking in” their rehearsals and becoming one of the attendees. Also, the interviews worked as a crucial element of this adventure, inviting the viewer to think about notions of time, space and emotional connection. However, we felt that the pace was lagging and overall lacked momentum, which means that the outcome is unfortunately less powerful than it could be.
